Contrastat amb la pauta oficial
Explicacions i respostes model d’EducaIA.

Fes servir connectors de contrast («on the one hand», «on the other hand», «however», «although») perquè es vegi l’estructura.

3.1 During your school’s Communication Week, students will take part in a debate about the growing impact that social media influencers have on teenagers’ behaviour, lifestyle choices, and opinions. You have been asked to write a for and against essay discussing both the positive and negative effects that influencers may have on young people. In your text, you should consider aspects such as the promotion of healthy or unhealthy habits, the reliability of sponsored content, and the pressure to conform to certain beauty or success standards.

3.2 Imagine working in your ideal job. Write a description of a full day at work in detail, beginning with how you commute to your workplace and what your morning routine is like. Explain your exact daily tasks and responsibilities, the people you work with, and the type of environment you work in. Include information about your colleagues, your interactions with them, and how you collaborate. Finally, explain whether you enjoy this job or not, giving clear reasons for your satisfaction or dissatisfaction.

Social media influencers are everywhere, and teenagers follow them closely, but are they a good or a bad influence? There are strong arguments on both sides.
On the one hand, some influencers promote healthy habits, such as exercising regularly or cooking balanced meals, and they can inspire their followers to try new hobbies. On the other hand, others encourage unhealthy lifestyles and show unrealistic images of beauty and success. Moreover, much of the content they publish is sponsored, so it is not always reliable, and young people may buy products simply because a famous person recommends them. This can also create pressure to look or live in a certain way.
In conclusion, influencers can be a source of motivation, but their influence is only positive when teenagers learn to question what they see and check whether a recommendation is honest.
El que puntua la pauta
Cada criteri val 1 punt.
La tenia
Un punt per criteri. Si el teu text el compleix, ho decideixes tu.
Què mira cada criteri en aquesta redacció
GrammarMira que les frases siguin correctes i variades. Aquí hi ha subordinades causals i temporals («young people may buy products simply because a famous person recommends them», «their influence is only positive when teenagers learn to question what they see»).
Vocabulary and spellingMira que el vocabulari sigui precís i propi del tema i que l’ortografia sigui correcta. Per exemple, «unrealistic images of beauty and success» i «much of the content they publish is sponsored».
Els dos costats s’ordenen amb «On the one hand» i «On the other hand», se suma una raó amb «Moreover» i es tanca amb «In conclusion»; «so it is not always reliable» uneix causa i conseqüència.
This can also create pressure to look or live in a certain way»).

Fast fashion has changed the way many of us shop, and opinions about it are sharply divided.
On the positive side, it makes trendy clothes affordable. With a small budget, teenagers can renew their wardrobe every season and experiment with different styles without spending a fortune.
On the other hand, the low prices hide a high cost. Garments are often poorly made, so they fall apart after a few washes and end up in the bin. Producing them uses enormous amounts of water and energy, and the workers who sew them are frequently underpaid.
Personally, I prefer to buy fewer, more durable pieces, even if they cost more at first. A good jacket lasts for years, which makes it cheaper in the long run and much better for the planet.

Nowadays, many children spend their afternoons at sports clubs, music lessons or language academies. Is this really a good idea?
There are clear benefits. Firstly, extracurricular activities help children to develop skills that school does not always teach, such as teamwork, creativity or discipline. Secondly, they give children the chance to make friends outside the classroom and to discover what they really enjoy. Finally, many parents find them a safe way to keep their children busy while they are at work.
On the other hand, there are also drawbacks. A very full timetable can leave children exhausted, with no time to play freely or to rest. In addition, some families cannot afford the fees, so children from poorer backgrounds miss out on these opportunities.
In conclusion, extracurricular activities are valuable as long as the children choose them and still have enough free time.

3.2 Environmental fines are often imposed on industries and companies and even polluting vehicle owners but hardly ever on individual citizens who do not recycle or respect the environment. Given the world’s climate situation, should governments start making individual citizens pay environmental fines? For example, should people report to the government on their neighbours who do not recycle, or who still have traditional light bulbs and not LEDs? Would this be good for society? Write a for-and-against essay.

3.3 Hobbies are often overlooked by parents because they want their kids to do well in school. As a result, hobbies are usually not considered to be important. Can some hobbies be turned into a class taught in schools? How do you think parents should act towards kids who care more about their hobbies than getting good grades? Write an opinion essay.

Environmental fines already exist for companies and drivers, but should ordinary citizens pay them too?
On the one hand, fines could change behaviour quickly. Many people recycle only when ignoring the rules has a cost, and the money collected could be spent on cleaner public services. Moreover, it would be fairer if everyone shared the responsibility for the planet.
On the other hand, a system of fines would be hard to enforce. Asking neighbours to report each other could damage trust within communities and turn daily life into a kind of surveillance. In addition, families with low incomes might suffer the most, for instance if they cannot afford LED bulbs.
In conclusion, I believe fines should be a last resort. Governments would do better to offer discounts on efficient lighting and to explain clearly how to recycle. Fines should apply only to repeat offenders.

3.3 Many cities in Europe are changing their traffic patterns by eliminating lanes for cars while opening more lanes for bicycles and battery-powered scooters and promoting public transportation. Some people like the idea of fewer cars in cities, but some business owners say that fewer cars means fewer customers. In addition, some residents say that taking public transportation is not always an option. Write a for-and-against essay about campaigns to restrict private car traffic in cities.

Many European cities are reducing the space for cars, and the debate is intense. Is it a good idea to restrict private traffic?
On the one hand, there are clear advantages. Fewer cars mean cleaner air, less noise and safer streets, especially for children and elderly people. In addition, the space once used by cars can become cycle lanes, parks or café terraces.
On the other hand, these measures also have drawbacks. Shop owners fear that customers will go elsewhere if they cannot park nearby. Furthermore, public transport is not always frequent or available, so residents of distant neighbourhoods may feel punished for something they cannot avoid.
To conclude, I think restrictions are positive if they come with good alternatives. Cities should improve buses and trains first, listen to local businesses and then reduce traffic gradually. This way, everyone can share the benefits.

Halloween costumes and Santa Claus now appear far beyond American borders. Is this a positive development?
On the one hand, these imports can enrich our culture. Halloween, for example, gives young people a reason to get together, dress up and be creative. Likewise, new customs bring variety and help us understand other societies.
On the other hand, local traditions may be forgotten. In Catalonia, for instance, some children now prefer Halloween to the Castanyada, even though the latter is part of our own heritage. Furthermore, many imported celebrations are driven by companies that want to sell costumes, so they can become more commercial than meaningful.
In conclusion, foreign traditions are not harmful in themselves. The real problem appears when they replace our own customs instead of coexisting with them. If we keep celebrating both, our culture will be richer, not poorer.
